This search site is open to any breeders or adopters of Greyhounds who have produced offspring.  The purpose, of course, is to enable parent dogs and their "kids" to find each other. 

 

Your dog MUST have produced offspring to be listed in the Sires & Dams site.  If he/she had no offspring, he/she is NOT a sire or dam, so please do not fill out this form.  

This entry form is ONLY for dogs with known offspring so that "pups" and parents can be connected.  To search for your dog's littermates, please go to the Greyhound Littermates List site. There is a similar form on that site for entering your dog's information.  

To enter information here you must be the owner or adopter of the dog or have the dog in your possession.  The only exception to this rule is that you may enter information for a friend without internet access IF you know where the dog is and can easily contact the dog's owner if a match is made.  PLEASE do not enter information on someone else's dog without their permission!

Dogs do not have to be still living to be entered here.  It's perfectly fine to try to locate puppies of a dam or sire who has already gone to the Bridge.  Many of our hounds have left us, but they will always be remembered and loved, and finding their offspring helps keep them alive to us.  

If you are entering information for a dog that is available for adoption, please give us the URL to your website in the "comments" box so that we can provide a link on the search page.  

Please fill in as much information as you have.  The more we know, the more likely a match can be made.  

There is space below in which to enter information about some of the known offspring of your dog.  Because of webspace limitations, we have to limit this to 9 pups.  If your dog produced several litters, I would suggest entering a few pups from each.  When deciding which pups to enter, you might want to give priority to those that you know are in a program awaiting adoption (we include adoption links when possible, so please let us know which adoption program has the pup), and skip those who are still racing, those you've already contacted, or those who are no longer living.  Or you can just start at the top of the list and go until you've used all the spaces.  Or you don't have to enter known pups at all.  It's all up to you.  But the more you can tell us, the more useful the growing database can be.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that your email address is typed correctly so that you can be contacted if a match is made.  If your email address changes, don't forget to let us know to update it.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR OWN EMAIL ADDRESS: You can still enter your dog's information.  Just put your contact info (mailing address, phone number, or whatever you want to share) in the comments section.  We will NOT publish your mailing address or phone number on the website, but will keep it on file under your dog's name so that we can share it privately with those who request it.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to spell your dog's name correctly, including any spaces or punctuation or lack thereof.  Example: Raceys Angel must be typed exactly that way.  Racey's Angel or Raceysangel may not work in the search function.  If you aren't absolutely sure how your dog's name is registered, please contact the NGA office (call 785-263-4660) to find out before you submit an entry here.  The ladies who answer the NGA phones are very friendly and helpful.
